Just another day

Vince had to do an inspection at the new school they're building in Winkler, so Joshua and I went along for the ride and visited dad (mom was working)... Dad made supper, which is kind of funny because he never made supper while we were growing up, unless it was eggs or western sandwiches (eggs). Dad also doesn't eat vegetables anymore because he doesn't like them - he never did that when we were kids. (I guess that was a good thing or maybe we wouldn't have learned to enjoy them either). We had a tour of his flower garden, played a quick game of Blokus, watched Canadian Idol and came home.... without the diaper bag. What kind of parents are we?!

Stir crazy

Well It's been a week and still no vehicle. My car broke down, think its the timing belt, and I feel like its been a month. Its easy enough to fix, but with Vince working overtime all week and me with a 4 month baby at home its actually not that easy. I like to know that I can hop in the car and go somewhere at any time (even if I don't) so it kind of makes me feel like I'm stuck inside, plus the weather has been crappy all week, so I can't even go for a walk - not that I wouldn't go myself, but I wouldn't want to take Joshua out in the stroller when the wind is blowing and it's pelting rain on us. Oh well.... I rearranged the house instead.

Joshua

Well, I haven't blogged for awhile, but I'm putting my foot down now and am going to be more regular.
Joshua had his second immunizations today. The doctor examined him and wrote in the file "Joshua loved Hawaii", which of coarse, he did. She also said he was phsycologically ready (whatever that means) to eat solid food. So we gave him some tonight...most of it came back out, but its a start. Maybe he'll start sleeping longer at night now. (I'll keep dreaming)
