Fathers Day

To Celebrate Fathers day we had a picnic at Assiniboine Park this year. It's been a few weeks and mom had wanted to go for a picnic on Mothers day already but of course it rained... Checked out the new section at Leo Mol garden in the park. Big statue of Moses by the pond. What Moses had to do with a bunch of naked girls (gracing the rest of the park) I don't know, but it is nice anyways.

Baby Genius

Joshua has a new toy - the Baby Genius - so far all he wants to do is eat it, so I'm not sure if it is making him any smarter or not. Maybe it works by making parents dumber so that the baby looks like a genius? I don't know...

Maybe a newspaper makes just as good a toy - at least he should learn to read faster.

Hecla

Well, the Stantec golf Saturday was here and gone, we once again got to stay for night at the Lodge because they rent two rooms for the guys (and occasional girls) to clean up after a hard day at golf (note the sarcasm)...

Pelicans and friend(the black one is the mosquito)

Steph, Joshua and I tried to go for a walk, but the mosquitoes were sooo bad we didn't get very far. They really are the size of small birds up there.

We went swimming though.

Dance Recital

Well Stephanie's dance recital came and went again. There is some talent at the shows, but mostly its just kids having fun and thinking they are going some place. The theme this year was Going around the world. I think Stephanie was shopping, not sure what the jazz was though, oh well, I could look it up but only if somebody really cares to ask... It was fun to watch anyways, Joshua wasn't so sure though - every time the lights went out he started to scream.
Here's some pictures.
